The Lord’s Prayer — Matthew 6:9-13

Our Father in heaven,
Station 1
Remembrance
Remembrance prayer involves reflecting on and honoring God's past deeds, promises, and faithfulness. By recalling His guidance in our lives and the broader narrative of faith, we deepen our trust and gratitude, reinforcing our relationship with God and our identity as His beloved children.

Hallowed be your name.
Station 2
Adoration
Adoration prayer is the act of acknowledging and worshiping the majesty and perfect attributes of God. It is a profound expression of love and awe, recognizing God’s supreme sovereignty, holiness, and infinite greatness. Adoration centers on God’s inherent worth, rather than on personal petitions or needs, and calls us to focus solely on glorifying and honoring God.

Your kingdom come, your will be done,
Station 1
Surrender
Surrendering prayer is the act of wholly giving over one’s will, desires, and self to God's sovereign plan and purpose. It’s a trustful submission, where we relinquish control and embrace God's ultimate authority and wisdom. This prayer reflects deep relational trust, as modeled by Jesus in the garden of Gethsemane, recognizing that true freedom and fulfillment are found in complete dependence on Him.

On earth as it is in heaven.
Station 4
Intercession
Intercessory prayer is petitioning God on behalf of others, seeking His intervention, grace, and guidance for their needs. It reflects selfless concern for their well-being and acknowledges our role in "standing in the gap," participating in God’s redemptive work in the world.

Give us this day our daily bread.
Station 5
Petition
Petitioning prayer is the act of earnestly requesting God’s intervention and assistance for specific needs or desires, grounded in deep trust in God's providence. We acknowledge our dependence on God while seeking His will and provision. This form of prayer is an act of faith, bringing our real-life needs before God our Father, and asking for His divine involvement.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
Station 6
Confession & Forgiveness
Confession and forgiveness prayer involves the honest acknowledgment of one's sins and shortcomings before God. It is a transformative process where we seek to restore and deepen our relationship with God through repentance, recognizing both the gravity of our sin and the boundless grace offered through Christ’s redemptive work.

And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.
Station 7
Contending
Contending prayer is the fervent, persistent intercession for divine breakthrough and justice. It involves intense, strategic engagement with God, standing firm in faith and invoking His power to address profound needs, resist spiritual opposition, and advance His purposes. This form of prayer embodies a proactive stance of wrestling with God in pursuit of His will.

For yours is the kingdom, power & glory forever & ever.
Station 8
Worship
Worship in prayer is the act of offering heartfelt reverence and adoration to God, recognizing His infinite holiness, power, and love. It involves elevating God's worth above all else and responding to His majesty with gratitude and devotion. Worship celebrates God's character and expresses our relationship with Him, seeking to honor and exalt Him through our praise.

Amen.
