Step out and make a difference! Missions gives students the chance to serve their community, show God’s love in action, and experience what it truly means to be the hands and feet of Christ.

Our purpose as City Youth is to cultivate a community where students are captivated by Jesus. The adolescent years are pivotal, shaping the trajectory of every teen’s life. During this transformative period, students are shaped with cultural messages everywhere that aim to influence and write the story of who they will become. Our role as leaders is to introduce them to a narrative that transcends all others—the identity in Christ.

City Youth Leaders embrace and live by this simple yet profound truth: "I Am With You." Emulating Jesus' unwavering presence with His disciples, we commit to being consistently present in the lives of our students. We understand that students don’t need another passing face. They need someone who is present through the most crucial time of their lives. What we also know about students is that you can’t go deep until you’ve first had fun and shared experiences of joy! We prioritize genuine connection and building relationships through meaningful interactions.

Leadership in City Youth consists of 3 components.

Wednesday Nights

Be present and ready to serve during our weekly youth service. A typical Wednesday night commitment for City Youth leaders is 6:00—9:30PM. Our leaders have a big influence on what goes on at City Youth and sometimes that requires some additional preparation too.

Sunday Mornings

Our leaders are on a Sunday morning serving rotation where once every few months they act as the face of City Youth connecting with new families that come into City Church.

Weekly Small Crew

Most importantly, our leaders are connecting with their inner circle, their small crew of 1-3, throughout the week.
